Edu-Futuro’s Emerging Leaders Program: Part I (ELP I) is a multi-workshop program that focuses on leadership development, college preparation, and community involvement for Latino and other immigrant youth (grades 9 through 12) offered 3 times each year (in the fall, spring, and summer). ELP I also has a group mentoring component; students are grouped in “Crews” where they work alongside their peers, as well as with mentors who are professional adults who provide valuable advice in areas such as public speaking, goal setting, advocacy, and career planning.
